New interactive map of restricted hours for abnormal transports

It can be difficult to get a quick overview of where the general restricted hours for abnormal transports apply in Denmark.
We have therefore created a new interactive map showing the areas where the restrictions apply.

The map shows the affected municipalities in Copenhagen and the surrounding area as well as the relevant urban zones elsewhere in Denmark.
You can zoom and pan the map to quickly examine areas along a planned route.

When do the restrictions apply?

The general restrictions apply to abnormal transports exceeding
3.3 m in width or 30 m in length.

Monday–Friday: 06:00–09:00 and 15:00–18:00
Saturday: 10:00–14:00

The restricted hours and affected zones are published by the Danish Road Directorate
(Vejdirektoratet) in Udskrift til særtransporter.
The map is intended as a quick planning tool, and the latest edition of
Udskrift til særtransporter should always be checked before carrying out the transport.
